The 186-year-old landmark Mount Tabor Moravian Church is getting an overhaul.
Workmen are repairing the structure, including the bell tower. The repairs are expected to finish by March 20, in time for the church’s harvest.
A major part of the refurbishment is the roof, and Reverend Dr Cicely Athill-Horsford said new steel structure for the roof, at a cost of $234 000, would be put in place.
