The Club upgrades with Digicel

Digicel Business is helping one of Barbados’ leading resorts, The Club, Barbados Resort and Spa, to stay connected and ahead with the instillation of a comprehensive communications solution.
Digicel Business provided the resort with a solution powered by Avaya.
When the new management of the Club took control of the resort they found the system did not meet the needs of guests or staff, said Joerg Roterberg, regional director of operations.
Martin Keogh, director of business solutions explained,
    “The solution implemented by our team was an Avaya IP Office, and included in room phones, Wi-Fi internet, and an easy to use and friendly switchboard solution. Although a safe, solid and easy system to operate, we still ensured that there was adequate training to bring the staff there up to speed on how to utilise all of its features to their benefit.
    “These are also scalable solutions which allow businesses to add more phone units to their network as their operations grow, therefore removing the fear of having to install a brand new system once their demands increase, or having to purchase a system, the size of which outweighs the actual requirements of the business. In the case of The Club, it was also more cost effective than their previous arrangement, and they now own the system and all maintenance is done by Digicel Business, an Avaya Gold Partner and recent winner of the coveted Avaya, ‘Partner of the Year’ award.  
As a result of the solution installed by Digicel Business, Roterberg stated, “We at The Club are able to function on a much more professional basis, offering all promised services to our customers and ensuring a professional communication solutions.”
