She came in at No. 11, but at the end of the night she was No. 1.
Olivia Leach, hospitality and tourism student at the University of the West Indies, is the new Miss Island Queen 2012.
The 21-year-old, after being crowned at the Boatyard on Sunday night, told the DAILY NATION it was a great experience and a long process, one she didn’t think she would do again.
Modelling a Cassandra Mottley-designed swimsuit and a Carnival costume from the band Tribe, Leach looked the part with her ebony skin and fine physique, which she said was from a no-fat, no-carb diet and three-days-a-week exercise routine.
