ATTORNEY GENERAL Adriel Brathwaite was the guest of the NATION’s Editorial Department this afternoon.
Brathwaite was invited to the Editorial Forum to speak on the current defamation laws and the lack of a Freedom of Information Act in Barbados.
The Attorney General spoke on other key issues like the death penalty, the payment of Jamaican Shanique Myrie and the direction of the Government Industrial School at Dodds, St Philip.
He also fielded questions from Editor-in-Chief Roy Morris, managing editors Tim Slinger and Eric Smith as well as other staff members. The 90-minute discussion was also attended by staff from the ICT, Advertising and Production Departments. (SAT)
