A St Michael man is in police custody assisting lawmen with the New Year’s night shooting murder at the Victor “Gas” Clarke Playing Field in Carrington Village, St Michael.
Damien Omar Mitchell of Lower Burney, St Michael was shot during a football tournament at the venue.
Three other men were hospitalised with gunshot injuries including Sheldon Milliington, 19, of Grosvenor Road, Carrington Village who was listed in critical condition after he received wounds to the upper body.
Also injured in the New year’s shooting were jabari Jackson of Bridge Cot, St George and Nico Rayside of Hinds Gap, Halls Road, St Michael. (TS)
