Rihanna has sold more digital tracks than any other artist in the United States of America.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, Rihanna has sold more than 47 million tracks to the end of 2011 putting her ahead of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Beyonce.
Black Eyed Peas are in number two spot but also hold the honour of having the biggest selling digital track to date with I Gotta Feeling. The list doesn’t include the tracks Rihanna has featured in.
Adele ‘21’ was last year’s biggest selling digital album.
