Uniformed and Task Force Police stormed a Black Rock, St Michael home today to secure a man who threatened to commit suicide.
Police Public Relations Officer Inspector David Welch said that about 1:30 p.m police responded to report of a 30-year-old male from Alleyne Land, Clevedale, Black Rock, St Michael, acting strangely having ignited a candle and turned on the gas in the house.
Welch said police who responded to the scene had to get additional help from police patrols and other members of the Special Services Unit. The Barbados Fire Service (BFS) was also called in.
