GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING R&B recording artist, dancer and actor Ne-Yo and singer-songwriter and actress Demi Lovato made a quiet arrival at Grantley Adams International Airport yesterday afternoon.
The two Americans are set to feature as performers at the Canadian radio station CHUM 104.5 FM’s Breakfast In Barbados show at Holders House today. The show has hosted a number of international artistes over the years like Jennifer Hudson, Maroon 5 and Nelly Furtado.
Ne-Yo is no stranger to Barbados, having performed here already, and he has done a duet with Rihanna. Lovato, on her first visit, is a former American Idol judge.
There is also a visiting delegation made up of 98 prize winners from across Canada, the United States and Britain who participated in the two-month-long contest offering CHUM’s listeners a chance to win a trip to Barbados for the week-long event.
CHUM FM on-air personalities such as Roger Ashby, Darren B. Lamb and Marilyn Denis will host the Breakfast In Barbados promotion along with their live week-long broadcasts from the Tamarind hotel. (LK)
