A CERTAIN legal eagle sent his pregnant mistress galloping after she tried to persuade him to give the child his surname.
Reports indicate that after a few years of extramarital bliss he has now found the mistress guilty of constantly tormenting his wife. He says too that she has harassed him by sending him a zillion text messages a day and has tried to bribe him into giving the child his name.
He has banned the mistress from ever calling at his house again and, furthermore, he has told her in no uncertain terms that the child will never carry his family’s famous surname.
‘Devil’ with a list
CASHIERS WORKING at a popular supermarket are fed up with the behaviour of a man who is supposed to be a regular customer.
Every Saturday he turns up at the supermarket with a long list of groceries with the prices and if the cashier rings in a cent more than what he calculated he goes wild.
Last week he had other customers who were standing in the long line frustrated and angry as he demanded that the cashier ring in his groceries again because they had come to 12 cents more than he had calculated.
The cashier had to be rescued by her supervisor, who calmly advised the irate man that the prices on his personal list might not be the prices on the items in the supermarket.
The poor woman had to scoop up all of the groceries and take the loud mouth man to her office to ring them in once more.
The employees are wondering why management does not ban this nuisance from shopping there since all he does is harass them.
Do-for-do
AFTER BEATING his wife for a long time and getting her pregnant every year for the past eight years, a certain man is feeling the pain now that the frustrated wife has left him for another man.
He is walking all over Barbados, telling people that his wife is no good and that she has left him with all the children, including two who are not his.
However, neighbours who know about their marital situation are saying that the wife could no longer put up with his controlling ways, especially after he brought in his outside woman to spend two weeks at their home during Christmas.
Gamble paying off
IT SEEMS that management at a certain company which has slot machines is not playing fair when it comes to the employees.
It has been sending home staff, apparently for no reason, but refuses to take action against a blatant breach of the rules.
It appears that a manager has been sleeping with a cashier for some time now but nothing has been done to stop this affair when the rules specifically state that if this occurs one or both parties will be sent packing.
Staff want to know if management is afraid to enforce this rule against the manager because, in all fairness, he is the one who should be fired.
Lovesick
THERE IS a woman in a certain community who has a lot of influence on many lives but who has started behaving like a lovesick puppy recently.
All of a sudden, she is “drawing up” to a man who lives nearby and telling everyone that he is her new-found lover.
People who used to look up to this woman are now losing respect for her as she is spending all of her time at the man’s house.
The problem is the poor man is not even returning her affection.
