Fourteen Barbadians took the plunge of faith yesterday when they were baptized on Brandons Beach, Spring Garden, St Michael, early yesterday morning. In a ceremony conducted by the Wesleyan Holiness Church, the seven men and seven women publicly proclaimed their new-found faith as they had their sins “washed away in the sea of forgetfulness”. Here, Zerina Belgrave, a member of Carringtons Wesleyan, is all excited after being baptized by Reverend Norman Belgrave (left) and Pastor John Sargeant. (Picture by Kenmore Bynoe.)
