Bajans jailed in St Vincent

TWO BARBADIAN men were jailed in St Vincent and the Grenadines last week after entering the country illegally.
Fernando Mayers, of St Stephen’s, St Michael, was imprisoned for four years Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to having more than 60 pounds of marijuana.
He also received a six-month term, to run concurrently, for illegally entering the state.
Curtis Brathwaite, of Rendezvous, Christ Church, received three months for illegal entry.
Both men admitted entering St Vincent by boat. (TS)
