Wyclef Jean is in town.
The world-famous Grammy Award winner arrived in Barbados yesterday all excited about his very first performance on the island at today’s Reggae On The Hill, climax of this year’s Digicel Barbados Reggae Festival, at Farley Hill in St Peter.
Wyclef, who recently made an unsuccessful bid for the presidency in his native Haiti, shares the stage with Jamaican reggae superstars Sizzla, Junior Kelly and Gyptian, along with some Barbadian acts.
Here, he salutes fans while leaving the Grantley Adams International Airport.
