Eleven years after a murder at the Crane in St Philip, police have charged a man for that crime.
In a release tonight from the Royal Barbados Police Force, it was noted that members of the major Crime Squad have arrested and charged Shawn Andre Weekes, 28, formerly of the Crane, St Philip who was wanted for the murder of Leo Callender.
Callender, who was 24 years old at the time of his death was from St Martins, St Philip. He was shot while at the Crane, St Philip on October 29, 2000.
Weekes was deported from the United States after serving a four-year prison sentence.
He is expected to appear at Court on Monday. (CM/PR)
