Two hurt in accident

AN ACCIDENT on St Lawrence Main Road, Christ Church, yesterday resulted in two people having to seek medical attention at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).
The collision, which occurred around 10:21 a.m., involved two cars. Fifty-four-year-old Grantley Alleyne of Church Village, St Philip, was driving one car while the other was driven by 55-year-old Wendy Patrick of Dayrells Road, Christ Church. 
Both drivers received injuries to their “upper bodies”. The accident caused a section of the highway to be blocked off for a period.
