Vincentian cop on drug charge

A police officer from St Vincent and the Grenadines has been arrested and charged for drugs.
A press release issued this afternoon by police public relations officer Inspector David Welch said members of the Drug Squad arrested and charged Alison Susan Louis, 44, a Vincentian police rural constable.
“On arrival by air on Wednesday October 12 from St. Vincent, Louis was interviewed by Drugs Squad personnel and was referred to Customs; A search discovered two packages containing cocaine in her underwear. The total weight was 1lb” stated the release.
Louis appeared at the District B Magistrate Court today, where she pleaded guilty to the offences. 
She received a CRD for possession of cocaine and $75 000 or three years in prison for trafficking in crime.
