Traffic arrangements for Christ Church Carnival

MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC are asked to note the following temporary traffic arrangements which will be put in place on Monday for the inaugural Christ Church Carnival.
These arrangements will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Route and Road Closure
The Parade route commences at Silver Sands and proceeds along Breedy’s Land, Hopewell, Sayers Court, Enterprise, Oistins, Pegwell, Church Hill, Gall Hill, Kingsland and Wotton Road.
The following roads in Christ Church shall be closed to all vehicular traffic. 
(a)        Silver Sands Road;
(b)        Breedy’s Land Road;
(c)        Hopewell Road;
(d)        Sayers Court Road;
(e)        Enterprise Road;
(f)        Pegwell Road from its junction with Oistins Road to its junction with Church Hill Road;
(g)        Church Hill from its junction with Pegwell Road to its junction with Gall Hill Road;
(h)        Gall Hill from its junction with Church Hill Road to its junction with Water Street;
(i)         Kingsland Road;
No person shall drive along, park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary on the route, except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers.
The public is required to comply with the lawful directions of police officers on duty in uniform who will be deployed at strategic points. (PR/SAT)
