Barbados’ top junior player Darian King got a tennis lesson at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India, today.
Playing on centre court on the first day of action, King put in a determined performance against Australia’s top-100 player Peter Luczak, but was beaten 6-3, 6-3.
Luczak, a professional on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour, was ranked a career-high 69th in the world last year, and is now ranked 98th. King is the ITF”s 327th ranked junior. (BA)
