UPDATED MISSING: Rashanty Ashton

POLICE ARE seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing girl.
Missing is Rashanty Ashton, 17 years, of Bath Land, St John, a fifth form student of the Springer Memorial Secondary School.  
She left home about 6:50 a.m. yesterday to go to school. She was wearing her school uniform and carried a Jansport backpack.
Ashton is about 5’5” in height, slimly built with a dark complexion and her hair is plaited in cornrow.  She has dark brown eyes and a protruding forehead.  She wears spectacles with a burgundy frame.
Anyone with information relative to the whereabouts of Ashton is asked to contact the District C Police Station at telephone number 416-8200 or the nearest Police Station.  (PR)
