Jamaican charged with drugs

Members of the Drug Squad have arrested and charged Jamaican national Giovanni Antroy Macintosh, 23, for a number of drug offences.
They include possession of nine and a half pounds of cannabis, possession with intent to supply and trafficking and importation.
Macintosh arrived by air from Jamaica yesterday and was interviewed by Immigration and was referred by them to Customs. 
In a release this morning from police, it was stated that a search was conducted by Customs and 21 packages containing the illegal drug were found in a false bottom of his suitcase.  Police were called in and he was officially charged.
Macintosh is expected to appear at the District B Magistrate Court today. (CM/PR)
