 River terminal monitored by cameras

Security will be a prime focus in the new Constitution River Terminal, with a major feature being high-definition (HD) cameras.

In addition, more cameras will be installed to keep watch on the turn from St Michael’s Row, opposite Church Village Green, to ensure no public service vehicle (PSV) operator tries to turn right and head through Hardwood Alley.

“Believe me, these cameras can see far and if any driver is seen breaking the rules, we will call them into our office and deal with them,” warned director of the Barbados Transport Authority, Alex Linton, as he conducted a tour of the Bridgetown terminal and the surrounding area for PSV operators yesterday.
