Effective midnight, Sunday, September 2, the retail prices of gasoline and kerosene will rise, while the prices of diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will fall.

The new retail price of gasoline will be Bds$3.91 per litre, up from $3.88. The price of kerosene will be $1.47 per litre, up from $1.46, while the price of diesel will move from $3.15 per litre to $3.14. These represent increases of three cents per litre for gasoline and one cent per litre for kerosene, while the price of diesel has decreased by one cent per litre.

Meanwhile, the retail prices of LPG will fall from Bds$154.34 to $143.28 per 100 lb cylinder, a saving of $11.06; from $43.69 to $40.92 per 25 lb cylinder, a decrease of $2.77; from $38.61 to $36.18 per 22 lb cylinder, a reduction of $2.43; and from $35.10 to $32.89 per 20 lb cylinder, down $2.21.
