CURTIS CALLENDER, the man who died in police custody last Thursday, might have suffered a brain aneurysm and subsequently haemorrhaged.
Those were the preliminary findings of a post-mortem conducted yesterday on the 30-year-old of Rollins Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael.
A brain aneurysm is a bulging, weak area in the wall of an artery that supplies blood to the brain.
In some cases, it causes haemorrhaging and brain damage or death may result.
According to sources, the Coroner is expected to receive a full report on the outcome today. (TS)
