The Bridgetown Port will have “the busiest week on record for a very long time”, next week.
Word of this comes from managing director of Foster and Ince Cruises Martin Ince who said three or four ships are expected to dock in the Port every day.
Among them will be the 4000-plus capacity Norwegian Breakaway, the largest ship in the fleet of the Norwegian cruise line will make its inaugural call to Barbados Sunday.
“It is a stronger season than last year as far as numbers are concerned” Ince told the DAILY NATION. (GC)
