ALL COMMERCIAL VEHICLES in Barbados are to carry a new and different licence plate.
Under the Road Traffic (Amendment) Act 2018 passed in the House of Assembly yesterday, they will carry the registration letter “C”, and the registration numbers printed in blue on a licence plate with a white background. This is intended to distinguish commercial vehicles from private ones.
It will also be mandatory for all vehicles, private and commercial, to have an insurance sticker affixed to the right- hand corner of the licence plate denoting the month and year the insurance expires. (GC)
