Three top ranking police officers have received their letters of appointments to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police earlier today.
Those newly promoted are Assistant Commissioner of Police (Ag.) Lila Strickland, Commandant of the Regional Police Training Centre Sylvester Louis and Senior Superintendent of Police Eucklyn Thompson.
The appointments were announced in a short ceremony at the Boardroom of Police Headquarters and formalised by Commissioner of Police Tyrone Griffith. They take effect from September 1 2018.
The commissioner and the senior command team expressed sincere congratulations to the promotees on their appointments.
