POLICE this morning found themselves facing a loud and abusive situation as some residents at Odessa McClean Road, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael protested how they were handling a situation involving a man.
Reports are that a police patrol was moving through the area when they saw the man acting suspiciously. The Police handling of the matter resulted in them coming under verbal assault.
The man, who was on the ground under police supervision, was eventually taken away in one of the six police vehicles that turned up.
About nine officers at one time were on the scene some keeping back the crowd, while others were sifting through the grass where the man rested. (JS)
