Gardens, roses, the look of spring, shades of pink – and even roundabouts – blended magnificently as creative and colourful hats, of all shapes and sizes, were presented yesterday by a heady team at Sunbury Plantation House in St Philip.
The event was the Barbados Association Of Retired Persons’ annual Easter tea party and hat parade under the theme Happy Is The Head That Wears A Hat.
The 14 participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they danced and sashayed through the aisles and along the special red carpet – much to the delight of patrons.
