West Indies captain Jason Holder celebrating with the team at Virgin Atlantic in the Chill Zone at Kensington Oval after the win on Friday night.
It was pure celebration at
Kensington Oval on Friday night when the West Indies scored a thrilling victory over England.
It was nail-biting finish, and some fans who filled stands did not anticipate the West Indies victory, since England seemed on target to overhaul the 289 set by Windies.
The One-Day International, the second for the week, was well attended by supporters of both teams.
But it was the Windies fans who were loudest at the end of play.
During the day, other off-field events also brought a buzz to the cricket Mecca.
Some cricket legends, including Sir Wes Hall, Sir Charles Griffith, Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes, were part of a meetand- greet session organised by the Barbados Tourism Product Authority, which allowed fans to mingle, chat and take pictures with them.
National Hero Sir Garfield Sobers and Prime Minister Mia Mottley also enjoyed the atmosphere of the game.
