Rangers get sweet revenge

IT IS often said that revenge is best served cold.
But there was nothing cold about CO Williams Rangers vengeful 57-50 elimination of defending champions NCC Ballers from the Barbados Netball Association’s 2012  knockout competition at the Netball Stadium on Monday night.
Last season, the Ballers, in their first year of competition and with just seven players, steam rolled through the preliminaries before stunning power houses Rangers in the final.  
However, Rangers rallying behind the 15/18 performance from the experienced Olivia Walcott and a total team effort to put out Ballers at the quarter-finals stage.
A full complement of 12 players proved unlucky for Ballers as they chopped and changed with the hope of repeating their 2011 success.
