Family missing Patrina

PATRINA LORD, 31, left her boyfriend’s house around 1 p.m. last Wednesday to return to work at LIME in Windsor Lodge, St Michael.
Adrian Archer had no way of knowing that she would not reach her destination and that he would be the last person known to have seen her.
Uncertainty about the Lodge Terrace, St Michael woman’s whereabouts is causing anguish for her family and friends as the minutes tick by.
Calls to her two cellphones go unanswered.
Lord and Archer have been a couple for about six months. He hasn’t been thinking straight since it became apparent that she was missing, and is often at a loss for words.
He said she was dropped off at his house, which is a stone’s throw away from the one she shares with her twin sister Patricia, after attending a funeral and luncheon. She reportedly left shortly after to return to work.
Archer is chiding himself for not finding out who was dropping her to work, as was the norm.
Her father Chelston “Pepe” Lord is beside himself with worry. He is accustomed to speaking with his daughter daily.
They have also been gym partners for the past few months. They should have gone on Wednesday morning, but she was a bit under the weather.
He last saw her on Tuesday morning just after 8 a.m.
He said he became a bit “alarmed” when he tried calling her number later on the day and didn’t reach her. He tried again and Thursday morning and was unsuccessful once again.
“All this time I didn’t know she missing from the day in front  . . . . I gone by her and can’t find her, I couldn’t understand. I tell myself she ain’t feeling well . . . . So I just relax,” he explained.
All that changed when Archer came by and broke the news.
According to him, Patrina stopped the partying and hanging out, and would spend most of her free time with her boyfriend.
Neither of them could think of who would want to harm Patrina, who is described as a wonderful person, caring, genuinely nice, selfless and one who enjoyed life.
Her disappearance is also taking a toll on her brother Leroy and their mother. He said the last time he spoke to his sister was last Sunday.
“She is overly friendly. Too friendly . . . . My mum is always really cool about everything. And although I know it is bothering her and everything, she is not overly emotional, but I know it is really frustrating for her because the phone ringing all the time.
“This is really an awkward situation for the family,” Leroy said.
The matter is in police hands, and a missing person’s bulletin has been issued. Word of Lord’s disappearance is also making the rounds on the social media.
Quizzed on the progress into the investigation, police public relations officer Inspector David Welch said:
“The investigation has been intensified and a detective has been assigned to the matter. All information relative to this investigation should be directed to the District ‘A’ Police Station.
“We are also appealing to those persons giving misinformation over the social media networks to cease and desist immediately.”
