Sharon Griffith-Ponton won free driving of a Suzuki SX4 for a month with $300 worth of petrol in a Simpson Motors promotion held at the annual St Gabriel’s School fair.
Simpson Motors’ marketing manager Kevin Beckles explained that the company had a long relationship with the school and decided to use the Drive Free promotion as a way to help the school raise funds.
Ponton, who has been driving the stylish SX4 for a few weeks, said the experience has been great.
“I was surprised that I had won. I didn’t even hear when my name was called. Winning this was great,” she said.
“I presently drive a Suzuki, so I am familiar with most of the vehicle’s features. So driving a similar vehicle with free gas for the month is fantastic because I live in St Lucy and so I do a lot of driving.” (PR)
