BAJANS?often say that when it rains it pours.
And Herman Griffith Primary School cricket champions St Christopher found that out on Monday when they received their playing shirts from second year sponsor M&N Enterprises Inc. along with cricketing gear.
Member of Parliament for the constituency, Denis Lowe also made a presentation of gear to the team.
Nigel Jones of M&N was especially pleased to make the presentation to his alma mater. He indicated that the team had played superbly last season to win the title without losing a game while racking up a number of centuries.
Although only one player has returned from last year’s champions, Jones still expects St Christopher to perform outstandingly again.
The team from the south have already registered wins over St Winnifed’s, Vauxhall and Bay Primary.
