THE MNISTRY OF Education does not “take kindly” to student sex abuse or any other forces that adversely affect students in its care.
Stating that they will not be condoning it, Chief Education Officer Laurie King said they will do all in their power to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
King made that commitment today at the opening of a two-day symposium at the Hilton Barbados titled Let’s Talk. . . .Student Sexual Abuse.
He said they intend to work with all organisations to negate and minimise any challenges that can impact on the school being a wholesome learning environment. (YB)
