IN A NEW video with Eminem, Rihanna is tackling the subject of domestic violence.

The video stars Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan as a couple stuck in a cycle of fighting, drinking, shoplifting and pyromania.

In the video, Rihanna, 22, sings outside a house that bursts into flames while the couple alternately physically abuse and kiss each other.

As the song progresses, the couple go to a bar, play manipulative emotional games, beat the tar out of a rival for Fox’s affections, steal booze, and then take the boxing match back to their home, which is one of several things that spontaneously combust, presumably a metaphor for the emotional trauma the characters are suffering.

“[Director] Joseph [Kahn] and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right,” said Eminem, 37. “Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this . . . .”

Fox, 24, donated the money she would have received for the video to a Sojourn House, a shelter for abused women. (CNN)
