United thrash Roads 6-2

VILLA UNITED posted the biggest victory on the opening night of the Indar Weir Travel Centre Clarke’s Hill Out of Season Twenty20 Football Tournament at the Brereton playing field on Sunday.
The Church Village-based Villa United thrashed Roads United 6-2 in the second game after Big Links kicked off the tournament with a close 3-2 win over Top Bay 3-2.
In the feature match, Jim and Them edged Central League Spartans 1-0.
The tournament continues on Thursday night at St Mark’s playing field, Blades Hill with Youth Uprising playing Clarke’s Hill at 6 p.m.
Ice Grillz will oppose Future Generation at 7 p.m., followed by the night-cap match between C and S United and Greens United at 8 p.m. (EZS)
