PRAYERS AND WELL-WISHES for Prime Minister David Thompson continued to flow yesterday from Barbadians all across the world after news broke that he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Shortly after the announcement was made by physician Dr Richard Ishmael that Thompson was suffering with cancer of the pancreas, hundreds of comments poured into THEĀ  NATIONā€™s website www.nationnews.com and THE NATIONā€™s Facebook page.
The following are some of the comments that were posted.
ā€¢ May God keep you and your family and give you all the strength to see this through.
ā€¢ O merciful God, please heal Prime Minister of Barbados David Thompson and send him back to us with renewed strength, fully recovered from his ailment. Keep hope alive.
I will be among the thousands of Bajans who will be at the Grantley Adams International Airport to welcome you home. Bajans at home and abroad are praying for you to have a speedy recovery and we are also asking God to protect your wife Mara and the children.
ā€¢ I have been praying with a group of intersessors for the PM since he got sick recently. Looking forward to his full recovery.
ā€¢ I will pray for my PM because he means so much to us Barbadians.
ā€¢ I pray that God will give Prime Minister David Thompson and his family the courage, strength, determination and faith to deal with this situation.
ā€¢ Jesus is a miracle working God. Our Prime minister is in our prayers. (CM)
