An employee of the Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital earlier today, after being injured during an altercation with a civilian.
Fitzgerald Moore, of Storey Gap, St Michael, was transported to hospital by ambulance just after 10.30 a.m. after being hit on the head with a stone. Public relations officer of the SSA, Carl “Alff” Padmore said Moore was on duty as a lorry loader in Storey Gap, when the altercation occurred.
Police are investigating the matter. (BA)
