THE BARBADOS leg of the Naniki Caribbean Jazz Safari climaxed on a high note this evening with an all Barbadian cast at Naniki Amphitheatre, St Joseph.

The four hour show, entitled The Errol Barrow Day Bajan Jazz picnic, featured the enterprising pianist Rhea Drakes , the phenomenal  trumpeter Ricky Brathwaite and Soca Queen Alison Hinds.
Despite the damp conditions dozens of patrons took to every available spot and showed their appreciation for the all local fare.
Special mention is made of Brathwaite and his support musicians comprising guitarist Michael Cheeseman, drummer David Burnett, pannist Andre Forde and bassist Ricky Williams. (JS)
