EMPLOYEES AT THE Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) staged a brief walkout this morning in support of a female colleague who was reportedly dismissed from her job.
Several staff members gathered in the yard of the SSA’s Wildey, St Michael offices around 7:30 a.m. protesting the situation involving the woman who worked in the office.
They however returned to work around 9 a.m. following assurances from management that the matter would be resolved.
The worker was subsequently reinstated. (MB)
