Police have made a breakthrough in relation to last Thursday’s bank robbery at the Six Roads, St Phillip branch of RBTT Bank.
Reports indicate that detectives were questioning a number of suspects in connection with the armed heist.
When contacted last night, Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of crime, Seymour Cumberbatch, confirmed they were holding some people in their custody.
“We have made significant progress in connection with the bank robbery and we are questioning some suspects,” he told the DAILY NATION. (TS)
