The beleagured boys of today

The debate is still on about co-ed schools.

The founding fathers, I think, were wise enough to separate the boys from the girls in education.

There were Boys Foundation and Girls Foundation; Harrison College (boys) and Queen’s College (girls).

That served us admirably, for boys performed well.

But now with co-educational schools the boys are underperforming. No chauvinism nor disrespect, but girls are definitely a distraction in school.

With the girls around, boys are not going to be thinking mathematics, their minds will be on romantics.

Those who brought this co-ed idea to fruition are extremely bright. They are all in a class by themselves.

Maybe they are female chauvinists, for in this co-ed outfit the girls keep outperforming the boys.
