CONGRATULATIONS to all my students for doing so well in this year’s examination and for demonstrating that top grades in CAPE [Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination] physics – particularly distinctions – don’t have to be a rare commodity.

The following deserve special mention.Grade 1: Mohamed Akoojee, Nicole Broomes, Akeel Clarke, Damani Clarke, Carla Crichlow, Alexis Layne, Sharan Sambvhani, Avinash Vaswani, Mathew Storey, John Gill (nine of the ten with distinction).

Grade 2: Stephan Barrow, Rebecca Bohne, Zoya Broomes, Seeta Chilumuntala, Rebecca Durant, Andrea Hussain, Benjamin Knaggs, Raymond Lee, Dominique Marshall, Brandon Maingot, Sumant Nanduri, Antonio Sealy, Hamza Suleman, Joshua Webster.

Sharan Sambvhani’s achievement was remarkable. He did not take the physics theory course at school, but took it as an extra subject privately.

Even with the extra load, he achieved grade 1 with distinction! Good luck and God bless you all.
