The Barbados Coast guard, an arm of the Barbados Defence Force, yesterday celebrated four years of the commissioning of HMBS Pelican with a church service at the Wesleyan Holiness Church in Whitepark, St Michael.
After the service in which civil servants were reminded of their importance to the society in the fight against crime and the illegal drugs trade, the Coast Guard made their way from the church grounds back to base.
