JAMES PAUL?has been stripped of his post as chief executive officer (CEO)?by the Barbados Agricultural Society (BAS) in controversial circumstances,?and there is every chance it could become a legal matter.
Yesterday, Paul, the Member of Parliament for St Michael West Central, acknowledged that a decision had been taken to sever him, but made it clear that up to now he had not received a letter outlining his termination.
“I don’t know the reason and I am not going to speculate. I have nothing to be ashamed of. I suppose everything will be revealed in the fullness of time,” he said.
Paul was informed verbally by the BAS?board of management on Thursday and told he would receive a letter confirming the decision. (MK)
