Seventy-one-year-old Gloria King showed them how its done at yesterday’s carnival at the Geriatric Hospital in Beckles Road.
The carnival was the highlight of the Geriatric Hospital’s activities for Senior Citizens’ Week.
Close to 125 patients and staff of the geriatric hospitals across the island, bedecked in colourful costumes, paraded on the grounds of the Beckles Road institution to some of the most popular songs from the recently concluded Crop Over season.
Coordinators of the carnival said that the event was designed to bring the Crop Over activity to the patients who could not get out to those events.
