Slowly but surely, the “old boys” are being recalled to national training for Barbados’ 2014 World Cup football qualifying campaign.
The return of captain Norman Forde was followed by those of experienced goalkeeper Adrian Chase and another former captain John “Nobby” Parris. Now utility footballer Rudi Grosvenor and defender Bryan Neblett have been recalled.
Grosvenor (above) had his first training session at the National Stadium on Tuesday night while Neblett watched from the sidelines.
Diquan Adamson, one of the country’s most skilful strikers, was also back in the mix after a brief break.
After losing 2-0 to both Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados will next play Guyana at the National Stadium on October 7. (EZS)
