Stop the price wars.
This appeal to hoteliers has been made by president of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) Colin Jordan.
Yesterday he warned that the Barbados brand was in danger of being “bastardized” by the extensive discounting of hotel rates.
Jordan said he discovered the price war recently while browsing the Internet hotel booking engine Expedia.Com. (GC)
