Police have recovered drugs at a St John residence.
Police public relations officer Inspector David Welch, in a release this morning, said members of the Drug Squad yesterday executed a search warrant at the residence of Ryan Andre Hayde, 29, of Cliff Cottage, St John, where a small quantity of loose cannabis was seized. In addition, police also secured 115 cannabis plants under cultivation in a bushy area.
He was charged with illegal possession of cannabis, intent to supply, trafficking and cultivation.
Welch also noted that at the residence was Maria Kim Burnett, 22, of Diamond Close, Ealing Park, Christ Church, who was arrested and charged for the offence of illegal possession of cannabis.
He said the two individuals are expected to appear at the District C Magistrate Court today. (CM/PR)
