HEADLINERS CAME OUT stinging for the Pic O De Crop judges tonight, thrilling a packed house at the Hilton Barbados.
While encores were accorded to Anderson Blood Armstrong and Adrian Clarke, six other contenders gave top-drawer performances, offering biting lyrics and strong arrangements.
Colin Spencer, Crystal Cummins-Beckles, Bumba, Christal P. Austin, Smokey Burke and reigning monarch Ian Webster were the other facing “judgement”. Also performing were Fabie, Summer Davis and Mandisa.
Fabie is not being judged because he works with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, which happen to be the auditors of the competition – an obvious conflict.
