Jubilee Gardens for craft and entertainment

THE ARTISANS and performing artistes have centre stage in Jubilee Gardens today.
Craftspeople are out with their jewellery, basketry, ornaments and other creations. Others who are trying to make a name for themselves in culinary arts, have products to either create or enhance the flavours of any meal.
People passing through have the opportunity to get HIV/AIDS and other health checks done and they are also being entertained by some of the acts coming out of the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts.
Acts on stage so far included Johnny Koieman, the Nothing is Impossible Dancers and Lisa Griffith, while the mother of gospel Sister Marshall is expected to perform later, as activities for City Fest continue. (YB)
